The working group meeting cum specialized training on the power sector tool - the session looks at introducing simplified measurement approaches for GHG emissions arising out of power generation. The aim for the initiative is to enhance robustness of inventorization in the power generation sector (given its huge impact on overall emissions) and provide a user-friendly guidance that are also consistent. This would also apply for companies engaged in captive power generation or having a significant impact from captive facilities.
