The India GHG Program regularly conducts regional & cluster based training with an aim to build capacities amongst its member companies. Typically theilty   maturtraining comprises of two day sessions starting with the overview of the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard highlighting the basic concepts on setting boundaries. The faculty from WRI, TERI and CII then touch upon the aspects of identifying emission sources, ascertaining the appropriate method/source of data, activity information and relevant emission factors before computing GHG emissions and rolling-up inventories. The second day comprises of Scope 3 Standard i.e. the Corporate Value Chain Accounting framework to introduce the participants on the basic concepts of Scope 3 accounting along the lines of Life Cycle Assessment. The course curriculum is customized based on the broader maturity level of participants with a variety of exercises, Q&A sessions and hand's on industry experiences.
